Coach Briggs completed his college diving career at Arizona State University (1999–2001), where he was a three-time All-American in the 3-meter and 10-meter events. Before ASU, he competed for one season at the University of North Dakota (1997), earning All-American honors on the 3-meter and 1-meter events. From 1997 to 1999, Briggs served as an assistant coach for the City of Midland in Texas.
In 1999, Briggs earned a scholarship to dive for ASU and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Secondary Education, emphasizing Physical Education. From 2002 to 2011, he worked as an elementary PE teacher in the Kyrene School District.
In 2004, Coach Briggs was named head coach for the Sun Devil Divers. Since then, he has produced multiple junior and senior National qualifiers, one junior World Team member, and numerous divers who have continued with college diving. He played a pivotal role in developing and building the foundation for 2016 Olympic Silver Medalist Sam Dorman.

Coach Cyr is a former Canadian National diver with several regional and provincial championships finishes and top 10 National finishes. He trained with Canada's National team athletes and coaches alongside world champion coaches. With nearly 25 years of teaching and coaching diving from beginners of all ages to National level competitors, Cyr continues to develop Desert Vista's JV and Varsity teams and aspires to influence the next generation of National level athletes with Sun Devil Divers!
Zachory Lundgren

Coach Zach started diving with Sun Devil Divers in 2015 and continued his diving career at the University of Hawaii during the 2020-21 season before transferring to Arizona State University in 2022. He competed under coach Marc Briggs from 2022-2024 and transitioned into coaching as an assistant coach for Arizona State during the 2024-25 season. After spending a decade involved with the sport, he has developed a strong passion for helping divers improve, build confidence, and develop a love for diving.
Sarah Bathe

Coach Bathe is from St. Louis, Missouri and started diving in 2012 after 10 years of gymnastics. In her junior career she was an AAU All-American, 4 x All State and competed at the top of her zone. She continued her diving career at ASU (Arizona State University) under coach Mark Bradshaw in 2017. In 2019, she had to medically retire from collegiate diving, but still has such a love for the sport and wants to continue to help young divers be successful and passionate about diving.

Coach Tres is from Chandler, Arizona with a gymnastics background before transitioning to springboard and platform diving under Coach Briggs. While in high school and club diving he competed in regional and zone meets on both springboard and platform. He joined diving later than most but he worked hard and loved his time with Sun Devil Divers before going off to college at Purdue in Indiana. He understands the struggles divers go through and loves helping athletes be the best versions of themselves, in and out of the pool.
